Valentine's Day 2016
February means chocolate-making at Britz. Even the very youngest students are able to make this simple treat, made with cream cheese, cocoa powder, butter, icing sugar and vanilla essence.

Reading Challenge
It's wonderful to see children who love to read. Recently we've been spending time in class doing a reading challenge. The students can choose whatever books they are interested in and spend 20 minutes reading freely. When they are ready they come and read a book to me and collect a sticker for every book they read. There is always a long line and they are quickly filling up their sticker charts!
